Oil pan gasket on my '93 Eldo 4.9 is leaking. FSM says to remove exhaust crossover pipe and reposition. Can this be done up on ramps? How tough was the pipe to remove? Any tips on doing so? Any way to get the pan down without removing the pipe?
TIA

i kno this post is kinda old. but did u ever get this done. my oil pan gasket is leaking and was wondering if you had any pointers. I have a 92 deville and the fsm says to remove fly wheel covers and oil pan bolts and it comes on out. ive read a few posts here that said it was a b!tch and not so easy. looks easy enuff. neway thanks for tha assistance.
Fly wheel cover is really easy.
