Hopefully I have diagnosed this problem correctly as I plan on replacing the assembly later this week. Reading through several posts here it would seem that the procedure is rather straight forward. I do however, have a few questions for those who are familiar with this:

1.) The inner seal (inboard to the knuckle) should be replaced I think. What is involved with the seal replacement? The manual I have calls for a GM tool to insert the seal, is this tool necessary? After pressing the axle out of the hub is there a gap between the end of the axle and the knucle in order to slip the new seal into position or does the seal go in from the outboard side of the knuckle?

2.) When reinstalling the caliper do I need to use new bolts?

Any advice would certainly be appreciated.
