TPS is mounted on the side of the TB and has a plunger that contacts the throttle lever to set the idle. Easy to replace. Do a search for the proper method to adjust it.

VCC = viscous converter clutch (torque converter).

AHHHH!!! They should take you out to the range and leave you there. TPS stands for Throttle Position Sensor. It is mounted to the side of the throttlebody, oposite of there the accelorator/cruise cables hook up and it slides over the rod that thwists to open the butterfly and monitors throttle position, some are adjustable and a simple adjustment might fix it, but get a haynes amnual at the very least if not an FSM and properly diagnose it with an ohm meter. As for the VCC, yes this implies a torque converter function, but there are electronics and a solenoid that complete that task, could be a solenoid, could be torque converter, either way, they are not cheap to fix, wish these were OBDII cars, cause then it could better pinpoint diagnose probems rahtrer than give a general failure notice.
