Filled up with gas and the car turns over but gets no fuel. Is there a fuel cut-off switch somewhere or a reset button? I have heard there is but where?:crying2:

Fords have an inertia switch around dash but am unaware of same on Devilles; I have read owner's manual an ddon't recall seeinf anything about one.
Do you hear the fuel pump run for 2 secs when you turn the ignition switch to run (not Start)? if so the pump is trying to work. If not check the fuse and fuel pump relay - start by checking in the owner's manual for location - in most cases there is a fuse in the engine compartment and possibly one in trunk on under rear seat. if fuses are ok try getting someone to check fuel pressure at the rail when ignition is turned on - should be 41 -47 psi for 2000 up some auto stores will do this for you.
if all above are ok it could be lack of ignition signal to PCM reqiured to energize fuel pump once engine is running but I would think it might start and then shut down if that was the case.
Hope this helps.

If the fuel pump is not running when you first turn the key (the 2 second prime mentioned above) then it's probably toast. They are a 'common problem' (one of many) with these cars. They seize up. They're pricey because they come with the float assembly. The Devilles have an access panel in the trunk so at least you don't have to drop the tank.
