I have a 96 Caddy Deville. Yesterday during a hard down pour of rain the car cut off. The information system said " No power to battery" or something similar to that. The car started and I went on my way. Later that night I noticed my head lights were out. i have high beam, parking lights, but no head lights. Any ideas?

dunno...any DTC codes set?
Is the battery ok? Alterbator tested? The battery cable could be loose....maybe a fuse?
dunno
No DTC codes, it is driving fine just no day time running lights or head lights.

if the fuse is ok and assuming battery/alternator/cables are ok then perhaps its the headlight relay. what happens when you turn off/on the twilight sentinel?
Some 98's have relays that go bad prematurely (like mine). I posted a thread here a while back regarding finding and replacing this relay (its like a 15$ part)....just a guess
did one of the maxi fuses blow?
