My '88 DeVille has been idling too high after startup. I ran diagnostics...no codes. After diagnostics, (7.0) I pushed the high, then the low buttons and got E 9.5 on the display. Is this the tps angle? If so, why is it so high? Isn't it supposed to be about 3?

Addendum: This is after I cleaned the TB and tubes.
This is not the TPS read out. This is another parameter to run diagnostics. What did you remove to clean the tubes? I've seen weak throttle return springs cause this or a misadjusted cruise servo linkage.

Ooops! I am mixing up my '88 and '91 again! Well, the '88 IS idling too fast...after I first start it and wait a minute for it to slowly lower its idle rate (it takes about 20 seconds to settle down a bit), it is obviously still idling too high. I put it in gear without touching the gas pedal and it lurches and the tranny goes "clunk". It should not be idling that fast (I think it has been damaging my tranny). Where should I look first?
