I have an 08 escalade awd. The tires have about 35% left. I have to replace the left rear as its done for. My question is can i replace just 1 tire or do i have to do at least 2 tires. the tires are 305/30/26
Agreed. If I'm not mistaken, general rule of thumb is to at LEAST replace them two at a time, if not all at once. If you're finding some are wearing faster than others, I'd check out your alignment/suspension, too.
That seems backwards to me. Typically the the front should get the new treads and the rear the old treads. I would suggest putting the new on the front and get a front end alignment.
I always do at least 2 at a time. Usually I do all 4 if the car isn't staggered. But on my sport cars the tears wear twice as fast as the fronts
