i looked but could not find a tread on starter removal
i believe the intake manifold needs to be removed
any input would be great
not sure if i should try it myself or not
stoney u there??????

It is indeed under the intake and not as hard as it sounds. Actually on the '94 it might be inside the intake (I'm not positive on the '93/'94) . Just remove the cover. There is no coolant running through the intake so the cooling system does not need to be drained.
i looked but could not find any other post
looking for a detailed description
any links ???????

It is under the intake. Here is a picture of it with the intake removed.

Yup. Haven't done it so I'll let someone who has help you there, but I think it all will become pretty self evident as you go. I one saw a picture on caddyinfo but I cannot find it. In this picture the manifold was just propped up by a 2x4 at the front end about 12" and the starter was accessed from there. I believe the fuel rail had enough flex that it was never removed. Plug wires obviously were. The guy who posted that said it took him all od :20 min. to get to that point. Wish I could find that picture.
