i have a 96 sedan deville it had a bad egr valve in it so i had it replaced, then we noticed it had a stripped battery cable while we were still at the shop so we replaced the battery and went to start the car. it woudlnt start we tryed cycling the system. reseting the anti theft program. it has spark fuel and the injectors get pulse. i would like any ideas with how to fix this problem.

You had a stripped battery cable and you replaced the battery? Do you mean that the insilation was stripped? Why didn't you leave the battery alone and replace the cable? Does the engine crank?

the engine cranks it has fuel air injector pulse and every thing.

What kind of fuel pressure does it have?

well found out today that it has low fuel pressure.... but i still dont get how this goes from a egr valve to battery to fuel pump..

Mine went from isc motor, to power steering pulley, to power steering pump, to a/c compressor.

well fuel pump will be done tomarrow so the bill is gonna be like $900 for an egr, battery, fuel pump, and an oil change. :alchi: :alchi: :alchi:

Next time you need work done call me, if you are going to pay like that. I have a 96 deville and little things are going wrong here and there too. Get a manual and learn your car. There is going to be other things going wrong. It is best to know when, so you can save other stuff from being effected.
