I currently have 205/70/15 tires on my Deville. I obtained some new factory rims (same type -lace) and am going to put Michelins on it. I tow every now and then. Will I do any damage by going with 215/70/15 tires?

You probably will want to run 215/65 to keep the speedometer close to being correctly calibrated. But, the 215/70's shouldn't cause any other problems except they may rub slightly, but I don't know for sure.

It's a radar detector made by Vogue especially for Cadillacs, called Cadar. I'm fairly sure it only detects X and K bands, meaning it's almost worthless today, but still a nice collector's item.

Ghost is right. I got the detector NIB. In fact I had obtained a few of them. I stuck them on ebay. Garage door openers are easy to obtain, but try to find one of these NIB. Would you believe back then Cadillac charged 499.95 for them? True it will not help me with todays technology but I wonder how many of them are still around. Just something to complete your Caddy.

That's what I thought it was!
I saw one on ebay about 5 years ago but it went for over $100 or I would've picked it up.

Sorry about taking the thread off topic.

I have a 95 SDV with 18" x 8.5" rims and Falken Ziex 255 45 zr 18 tires. They do not rub and handle great.
