: Embarassing XM Moments.....

Had another one today, so I thought you might get a chuckle. Usually, I listen to Fred, Lucy, the 80'[s and Top Tracks. Occasionally, I listen to the 70's and the Comedy channels.

I was listening to the Stones on the 70's on the way to work today. My business partners and I went to go look at some office space, and I jump in and turn the key. Guess what's on the 70's channel - The Carpenters. Had to hear about that all day (dude thinks he's cool in his little racer, but he listens to the Carpenters, yada yada).

Reminded of a time a few weeks ago, when I was listening to the more adult comedy channel on the way in. One of woman partners, another guy I work with, and I jump in. As we start to move, we hear "You know that sound it makes when your girl gives you a B******". :shocked2: Before I could get to the knob, I was 3 shades of red.

Gotta to pay attention when you get out - you never know what's coming out of that box.

Somebody jump up on their soap box before I do.

Not as embarassing as leaving O & A on and jumping in the car with someone and having them dropping f-bombs and talking about pretty much anything.

The Carpenters, ouch!

I like the XL comedy channel, it's good to laugh when you're in traffic. I have the preset set to the regular laugh channel, and then I manually tune down one channel. Just in case.

Some of my friends go out every Thursday for guys night out, yes, usually strip clubs. They want me to buy the Playboy channel for a month so that they can hear it when we go (bear in mind these are married mid-30's to mid-40's guys that own their own technology companies, so it's even funnier). I don't want to do it, just on principle.

And who came up with porn radio? This is a dangerous idea, on many levels, worse than cell phones and nav systems...

Does it come with a hands-free unit?

I'm a big fan of the comedy channel, but it will get you in trouble. Whenever I go to the car wash I have to remember to turn it down because, when the car is being dried and all the doors are open, the sound of Dave Attell or Dane Cook blasting dick jokes through the parking lot full of soccer moms has caused me embarrassment more than once.

Yeah, XM Comedy. I won't tell you what came on the very first time I drove my 18 year old daughter someplace while she was here on summer break. I hit 'Disc' so fast that I'm probably responsible for another paint chip flaking off. She just gave me a, "Been there, done that," grin.

Where did my little baby go???

O&A said Playboy radio is gone/done. I think they said end of this month, or else it was end of last month. Better hurry.
