Need a little help...
I am replacing the o2 sensor in my 86 Brougham. I have the haynes manual (70-93 rwd models) and it says the sensor is located inside the exhaust manifold near the cat converter. However this Haynes manual sucks and most of the locations of various sensors have been wrong. I was wondering if the sensor really is in this location, or if it is somewhere else. Some other threads have mentioned that o2 sensors can be located near the firewall under the hood. I'd like to know where it is before i take apart the exhaust, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It's probably in one of the exhaust manifolds. And I think it's pretty easy to see but my 1991 isn't here so I can't check. You shouldn't have to take the exhaust apart to get to it.
