True, but hopefully as a part of GM now (FINALLY) trying to cut the MSRP's down closer to the actual transaction prices people sign the dotted line for, they shouldn't rise too much, at least as far as the Escalade is considered.

I mean, an ESV Platinum is already over $70k, and arguably not worth that much dough for as much as it shares with your garden variety Chevy. However, take the new one, with all those features listed above, added refinement and power, and a fresh design, and $70k+ might be highly acceptable.

I wouldn't be too sure on that. I think from $50k to $70k for a bone stock escalade is WAY too much of a price gap.

So then how much will the platinum edition cost? Like $110k-ish?

I'd like to see Cadillac try.

Btw, I'm not a big fan of the platinum. I don't feel slightly bigger wheels, two extremely small monitors, and heated cupholders are worth the extra $12k.

yeah i agree. getting a stock lade and putting all those platinum extras would be cheaper.

It will most likely stay in the same price range. ESV Platinum edition will most likely cost the same (70 g's, not 110). And the stock lade will probably run in the same area (50's).
