: Best Rear Main Seal Fix?

Hey all,
I have seen/heard of 4 different methods to fix the rear main seal and I was curious as to which is the best. So far I have heard of: A seal kit that Cadillac sells that supposedly will make sure it never leaks again, taking the block to a dealer and having them seal it up (This may be the same thing, though I am not sure), the stock OE seal or a $60 ribbed seal that is claimed to be "The best seal for Northstar engines." Can anyone share their experiences with these different seals/techniques?

RTV. I believe GM has a TSB on this about using RTV silicone to seal the rear main.

Get the 60 dollar acdelco seal. It has 2 sealing edges as opposed to felpro's one sealing edge
