:D HOW do you guys with the high 12's and low 13's launch your cars???
I'm trying to get the fastest start out of the V but I think I have much room for improvement???
SO guys please share your secret launch techniques.

The key....IMHO.....is no wheel spin at the launch.....you CAN'T dump the clutch. I have drag radials that "hook up" perfectly. I'm not a race car driver.....I'm an amateur like most on this thread. So.....having said all that, I hold the rpm's at between 2500 and 3000. When I get the green light "ease" (very quickly) the clutch out and hard on the throttle......no hop or spin. I don't power shift....I actually "let off" on the throttle for each shift, but of course, shift quickly. You're into fourth gear before the traps. Good luck....works for me.

You do this with the drag radials, so I should probably ease the cluth at 2500 max to avoid spin, in my opinion, I have to try that
I think it might just be practice but i've tried diff variations and it is hard to get a good start.

I got a few good starts, I disabled the stability controll as well and i am getting less bogging out, I thought you only needed to take off the traction control but i guess it works best with it all off.

Yes.....alcast082....almost forgot to mention......EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.....turn off the Traction Control before you launch......Not stability (make no difference in a straight line).......

For some reason I feel like with stability on the car boggs out sometimes and with it off it hasn't happen yet.
thanks for the tips flyboy
