I Found My House!!! DeVillish 09-06-05, 04:01 PM yeah i saw that, i think the pics are a little old cause i think i saw my car in the school parking lot lol! Made me miss home, lookin at the bridge we used to race on....ahhh good times. LittleB 09-06-05, 04:08 PM It can't be that old, can only be about 2 years judging from that i see....maybe not even. Like a year or so. DeVillish 09-06-05, 04:12 PM i think its different for different places too. They tore down this mall where i live the summer i graduated, and in that thingy, the mall is still there. Maybe cali is more updated. LittleB 09-06-05, 04:37 PM Oh i guess it's different. I zoomed all the way into my house, you can see whats in the backyard LOL. I wonder why you can't zoom in that close for other countries....it is all blurry, you can't get close enough to even see streets in other places. addison_ii 09-06-05, 05:29 PM I have tried it before. Some places the images can be up to 4 years old. But for a lot of places they're more updated. So far I've saw my last 3 residences. It's pretty cool. ben72227 09-06-05, 06:38 PM Yeah, it was in the news this week actually. South Korea was angry because you can see their military bases on it, and in South Korea they're classified to prevent terrorist attacks and such, but I think Google offered to take it down. Boombotz 09-06-05, 08:15 PM yeah i saw that, i think the pics are a little old cause i think i saw my car in the school parking lot lol! Made me miss home, lookin at the bridge we used to race on....ahhh good times. You talking about the Gandy Bridge. 90Brougham350 09-06-05, 08:40 PM OK this is the most fun I've had while I was supposed to be studying in a long time! The Pyramids, the Hagia Sophia, the Eifel Tower, this program is fun! Brian davesdeville 09-07-05, 03:25 AM IIRC terraserver.microsoft.com has higher-res images. They're also dated so you can tell when it was taken... Google moon is cool, open it and zoom in all the way. | |
