Can anybody help on a high idle issue, I have a 92, 4.9 fltwd w/ 109k miles. The car runs and idles fine until I put it in gear and accelorate it will idle at 15-18 or what ever speed I go to. when cruising it will idle down to the current speed I am traveling. When I come to a complete stop or when it down shifts into 1st then it idles down. Any ideas? Thanks ptrakman@comcast.net

It maybe just me... but I did not understand anything from your description...
Depress Eng button on DIC several times until it shows RPM, perhaps it will help to understand the problem you encounter.
