No, we here in America, did not get that car. We did, however get the 1997-2003 Volvo S70 Coupe/Convertibles. A very sweet car, BTW ! Ever notice that the back end of the 1997-2003 Vovvo S70 Coupe, from the rear window down to the rear taillamps/bumper is a dead ringer for a Mercedes Benz Coupe ?

YEah i had one of the C70s in 1999, the same year my wife had a CLK320 the rear end is the same. I just didnt know the C70 had a predecessor. (sp)

My mother had a Volvo 480 Turbo

They were great, i still love the styling

You shouldn't have gotten rid of that Volvo C70 Coupe. They are highly sought after here & will be classics in their time. Very handsome & good cars.Especially in the Dark Dark Green Metallic !!!!

Yeah it was a VERY nice car indeed. Mine was a 1999 2.3T Mine was black, with tan interior. All options. Very fast, very comfortable, seated four in as much comfort as the V70 i had the year before.. Great car. I would have another.

Nah sandy thats not mine, mine was exactly like it though. The 780 is a nice looking car, i didnt even know they existed, i stumbled accros some pictures accidentally.

Its a nice looking coupe. I still think the C70 is one of the best looking 2+2s built, i much prefer it over a Mercedes.

terrible one

I agree, the wheels on that thing really hit it off. I really like the looks of that thing.

Yeah they it was a nice alternative to the S70 i was going to get. I knew of the C70, and looked into it, i didnt even test the S70.

EDIT: The wheels were aftermarket, Volvo wheels

The S/V90s were great. Last of the BIG volvos. A coupe would have been a great addition i suppose.
