A dealer or a rental firm? And, if you don't mind me asking, what is the cost for a week on a new model such as the DTS? I too am considering buying a DTS and think it's always a good idea to rent for a week BEFORE one considers buying. THANKS much. benamaster 09-08-05, 02:31 PM I took my Escalade in for Service today and recieved a 2006 DTS in a White Pearl color as a rental. The dealership was Labadie Cadillac in Bay City, Michigan and the company was Enterprise. Overall it seemed like a really nice car with a smooth ride and a very quiet interior. The rate on the paperwork was around $50 per day, it said 10 hours. -Ben ARTSBEST 09-09-05, 10:11 AM Thanks. The Cadillac dealer in my area used Enterprise too when I needed some warranty work done recently. Just never looked at what the rate was for the 2 days that I had the loner. 74el-doggdropper 09-12-05, 12:50 AM he paid just under 400 for the whole week, we both liked it so much we both decided on gettin one eventually once they hit the used lots, overall the car gets a A from me i have a 2001 deville and i love it and i love this 06 DTS even more, the little device on the dash that has i think 5 lights and three of them are orange and the other 2 are red and when u get close to a vehicle or a wall or whatever the orange lights start to come on and then right before u gonna hit it the 2 redlights will come on to let u know how close u are SurferTom 10-07-05, 08:55 PM From whom are they renting? I too am considering buying a DTS and think it's always a good idea to rent for a week BEFORE one considers buying. THANKS much. Agreed. Several years ago (before I bought my DTS) I rented a new Deville from Enterprise and took it cross country for a month and 8000 miles. It was really a good buy as it only cost around $1400 plus fuel. Got great mileage too about 26mpg. (better than DTS). I've done that with many cars that I subsequently purchased a same brand. | |
