The bottling plant for Tobasco sauce has been completely destroyed. Even the aging barrels have been destroyed and are unsalvageable. There's apparently nothing left at all.
Its time to stock up.
I bet a lot more than that was destroyed. I wonder what other companies were effected and might have shortages....

GM has that plant in shreveport (H3 Colorado Canyon), nissans got a titian plant down there ....wonder how those did ....
yup we got alot of tobasco so were good ....
Great news! I was misinformed! The current factory is in Avery Island, LA, which is west of Baton Rouge next to the coast. Tabasco lives on.

I was about to cry when I read Jesda's post. I was like no more Tabasco??!! What am I going to use for my HotWing Sauce?? But all is well. Whew, thank goodness. My Wing Sauce can still have one of its ingredients.
