I never watch shows like that, just have no interest in watching a bunch of amateurs who have stars in their eyes. Although the girl who won last year from Saskatoon was fairly talented.... :shhh:

I never watched American Idol until this recent season, and couldn't stop. I got sucked in and even CALLED and VOTED multiple times (for Scott Savol). The judges on the Canadian version have no drama, and that makes for very mild karaoke bar entertainment.

Earlier today I watched the west coast auditions, and everyone was horrible, even the people who made it through. Right now I'm watching the results show with 6 remaining, and all of them are terrible except for the big guy. He's great.

Didn't watch it I'm afraid. You must have satellite to be able to get CTV?? Or how long would it take to download it?

I dont have a normal TV, so my shows come down the pipe at 20-80 kilobytes/sec. A half hour show is 180MB or 360MB for an hour. Its really sharp DVD quality and theres no ads! I hate hogging my DSL line though.
