Does anyone know when it's typical to expect parts to be released for an upcoming model? In this case the STS-V.
I'm looking to acquire a set of STS-V wheels for my CTS-V :yup: :lildevil:
Thanks!!!!

a few months.... The just finished building the second set of "engineering" cars.... Production to begin sometime this month assuming all goes well.
FYI those wheels are staggered (19" back, 18" front)

Thanks!!!! Is there a problem with them being staggered?

You just don't rotate them.

If that's the only problem, then Great!!!!! I've been planning to go larger in the rear anyway so the privilege of full rotations will be lost regardless…

Anyone have any updates on the STS-V parts availability?

According to my dealer on Friday, the STS-V wheels are in the parts system. However, there's no price or availability listed so they need to call GM. Any other dealers notice the same thing or have more insight?

Hi Staxxin,
the wheels are in the system you`ve sayd but did you know that the STS V wheels are 6 lug and the standard STS only 5s?
They would only fit the european V8 model because it comes standard with the wheels of the CTS V (6 lugs).
Other on the XLR V, they come all with 5 lugs, the standard XLR and the XLR V.

Thanks Harry, I am aware. I'm actually planning to put these on my 05 CTS-V. I like the idea of the staggered look and wider rear 9.5.
Thanks!!!

Hi Staxxin, you want them for your CTS V, that sounds good and I`ll think it looks great on it:thumbsup: You are right, no problem on the CTS V.

Thanks Harry, I hope they look nice on the car. I'm thinking about powder coating them so they don't look like a transplant :yup: . I just wish they would hurry up and hit the dealer market.

Can anyone confirm the part #15820988 is the correct STS-V mesh upper grill for non-speed adaptive cruise control models (V6, 1SC).
Are any additonal clips/parts needed for installation?
I got the part number from gmpartsdirect.com, they have it listed for $224.25 total including shipping.
