Speaking of V1's, I need to wire mine up in my new V. Any tips on where to pull power from in the sunroof / int. lighting console on the roof?

looking for switched ignition power so it will turn on with the key.

This will go off with RAP power (about 10-20 mins after the car shuts off) and on when you hit the remote button or open the door...

Never had a dead battery with this method... (knock on wood)

It also takes only about 5 minutes to complete, including running the wire to the unit.

The hardest part I found was running the phone wire under the plastic piece to pull it through to the wiring harness in the sunroof area. I ended up shoving some coat hanger wire through, and making a loop to pull the wire in. Secondly, my crimp clamps were crap, and I ended up splicing the wires - so mine has a nice solder job - either way, the wiring for the V1 worked fine.
