yeaaaaa, so i looked into cyl. 6 today and i didnt see a silvery color, but more of a brown, almost rust color. ill take off the heads, but should i plan on a diff motor? cuz i didnt see any silver.

Surface rust can range from no big deal to time for a rebore. Pull it apart to see.

Yeah, either way I definitly don't think that it will cause you to need a different motor. Boring it out should do you right, or if it isn't bad at all, you could just hone it.

Under $300 for cast, around $375 for KB hypers, and $550 or so and up for forged.

Oh yeah, maddog finally has scat stock length forged rods for the 500 along with their ross pistons, so a forged pistons and rods combo will run about $1000.

Yeah I guess it all depends what the setup is going to be used for.

I also have those pistons and rods for sale alone or a set for about the same money.
