Just saying hey from here in TX. I've always likes STS's and ETC's and was toying with the idea of getting an STS and looked for a forum to check out. Currently I have a '94 Caprice 9C1 that needs help but is still a great car. It has the LT1 and all the typical police cruiser heavy duty stuff on it just not the spot light.
I like big, smooth, but fast sedans.

I think I recognize a few from the ImpallaSSforum in the replies. Katshot, Sal (maybe).
Are you the Sal that also disputed the current flow argument on the Impalla forum in the audio section?

I was looking at autotrader.com and saw some nice STS's close to my price range but not close enough. I'd like to have a Black '96 with black leather (crazy thought being in Texas huh). I like some of the interior features in the '96. '97s on up seem to be getting out of my range quick.

Sounds like you need a 94-96 Fleetwood!

Yeah, I used to frequest the Impala SS forum but got tired of some of the members. There were a lot of great guys that frequented the "Fleetwood" section but it got lonely there far too often. When it started being more low-rider frequented, I jumped ship. I don't really get into the low-rider scene with tiny wheels, hydros, and multiple subs. This forum is far more to my liking. There is a place here for the low-rider kind of stuff if you're into it but there's also much more too.
If you even semi-liked the SS forum's Cadillac section, I'm sure you'll LOVE this place. We have a great cross-section of people here.
Just one word of advice;
There's some people here that tend to be a little "passionate" shall we say, at times. So don't let anyone scare you off. If you read around, you'll see that a few of us have some big mouths but don't take it seriously. So you shouldn't either. Feel free to express yourself, share and learn. That's what we're all here for.
Ok, some of us are here to have fun too ;)
