I have had the chip in the key to go bad and cause a no start for no apparent reason. If you carry two different keys together sometimes it will cause the chip to fail or if it gets too close to a magnet. I also have had the ignition switch to fail where the key chip makes contact with the key and cause a no start. If you have a spare ket try it and also lock and unlock your driver's door with a key and see if it starts.
