I was thinking about maybe bidding on this deville but wanted opinions from you guys first. I know the miles are high but northstar engines are known for going the distance, and I was going to use it as a second car anyways. I figure if I can win it for the opening bid plus shipping I'd be getting a 2000 deville for $2,500 can I really go wrong?,heres a link so you guys can see it thanks for any advice.

The link you posted isn't really going to lead us anywhere. I don't know how many miles on it but I doubt you'd get it for $2500. The only reason I can think a 2000 Deville would fetch such a low price is either incompetence on the part of the seller or the trunk is full of dead nuns.

If you can repost the link, I'd be curious to see it. =)

Oh weird. As soon as I posted my comment, your link suddenly showed up as a real link. Before it was just a bunch of garbled text. NEVERMIND! =)

Okay, there are 6+ days left on the auction so I all but promise you the price is going to climb above the opening bid. Doesn't hurt to try, though!

hmm, almost 200k miles on that thing. do you have 2,5k dollars to blow on it? if you do, what could it hurt you know? nice looking Deville, black on black my favorite. id wait til it only had like a few hours left instead of 6 days so youd know how much it would be. there could be like 50 bids on it in a few days and the price might be up to 3k or 4k. good luck anyway.

Yeah 93fleetwood the miles are very high but like anything else on ebay it might skyrocket in a few days to. But I've seen cars end on there with no bids either so I think i'am gonna try my luck I'am gonna sit tight and watch it I'll keep you guys posted. heck even if it died in 6 months I could probably part it out and get my money back at the very least.

I thought my 45-mile commute to NYC was bad. He was doing 80 miles each way in that thing. If you have to do 80 miles a day there isn't much else out there that would do it more comfortably. The black on black is nice. I'd worry about the check engine light but if you pick it up cheap enough it won't matter.

It might go cheap with that kind of mileage....keep us posted.
