1. If you are on trip using the navigation system with driver 1 and then you stop and driver 2 starts the car, does the navigation system keep on the same trip or does it switch to driver 2's stuff. I have a 2004 Escalade and when I switch drivers with my wife and she starts the car with her memory settings (driver 2), the navigational system changes to her just like the radio presets. Thus for us to continue our trip under navigation, she had to select driver 1 and then manually adjust the seats and mirrors. Does the CTS work the the same? If so, is there a way to turn that operation off?

2. I am currently demo driving a 2006 CTS without navigation. To see the XM radio program information requires me to push button for temporary display. On my Escalade with navigation, the XM information shows all the time. Does the CTS with navigation show all the XM informatlon all the time?

1. I dont know - Never switched drivers during a trip.
2. Yes, With Nav all data is displayed on the screen without hitting any buttons.

Not certain about the trip routing, but all the radio presets, etc are tied to the 2 driver setups.
