I was reading in the 2005 CTS Navigation manual that it has a section on Voice Recognition. It sayes "If your vehicle is equipped with this feature...". Does the 2006 CTS Navigational system come standard with Voice Recognition?
How well does it work? Is it useful or is it just a cute toy?
:hmm: It provides voice turn information, such as, "turn right in 300 feet". It's a nice feature, especially when driving an unfamiliar route.

YES its useful, once you get familar with the commands you can tell your system to do a lot of stuff verbally. It works! Mute, pause, scan, change between xm and radio and cd. Change cd tracks, change cds, etc.
Is there a list of commands? I know the commands for the Nav, and radio and XM, but I can't figure out the command for the CD. Is there a list somewhere of all the commands available?

I think if you push the voice button and say "what can I say" or something like that it will tell you, also in the navigation manual suppliment there is a list of commands as well.
try cd 1, cd 2, etc.
