Well yesterday I go to start my deville and nothing then I try again and it kicks over runs rough sputters as if it were out of gas than stalls. I wait a few minutes kick it over and give it some gas the sputtering goes away and it runs fine,this happened three time in two days. My first thought is the fuel pump is finally getting ready to go I had 14 gallons of gas in the tank when it started doing this. As some of you may remember my fuel pump was overheating requiring me to keep the tank above half full so the pump would work properly. So am I right about the fuel pump being the issue here,or is there any other things that would cause this to happen? I checked and have no trouble codes thanks for any help guys.

Get a fuel pressure guage on the fuel rail when it happens and see what kind of fuel pressure you have to be sure. You don't want to drop the tank for nothing.
