I know it and I'm not ashamed. Tonight I was walking around Boston, just like I dideverynight this week and two weeks ago. Anyway I'm walking and seeing Ferraris, Astons, Porsches, Bmws, Mercedes. You get the point, what is lacking but the V. I'm on the phone with my girlfriend complaining that I am bored and just walking around when I come upon Cheers. I pause start to look around when a shiney chrome mesh grill catches my eye. No way! I hang up with her and start hanging around waiting for the owner, it was sitting in a valet spot. The valet comes up, and I ask him where he is going, its not far so I walk over to talk to the guy. I have never met a fellow owner.
He and I believe his wife come out while I am talking to the valet who onws a Z06. I immediately apologize to the woman and begin my psychotic rant about being a fellow owner, and asking him about how he like it etc. He said he owned a BMW 530 and this car (V) is infinately better. Well duh. He gave me his card, and told me to E-mail him about this forum, so I think I recruted a fellow addict. His car was Black on Black an immaculate, even inside the rims. So do I get a toaster for recruiting someone?

Cool. I've yet to meet another V owner and I highly doubt I will in Iowa. I've got a shot at meeting one at a Minnesota meet.

etc, etc, etc...

My girlfriend is really starting to get worried. However, she is out of town till monday night.. Hee hee.. You may notice she is out of town, 'cause there are a few website changes....

ahahnu, how long are you in Boston for? A few of us are heading up to NED tonight. From downtown, it should take about an hour to get up there if you leave after 6. Otherwise, it will take longer with weekend traffic. If you want to meet some wild and crazy guys, come on up. Then there's Bill, he's just crazy.

Jim- I'm leaving tonight at 6:30. I was really hoping it was you. The car was immactulate, so I knew it had to be someone that cherished the car. I saw the thread, and would love to go. Every area but the tristate NYC area can get together, so it would of been nice to meet you and Bill, maybe next time, I'm sure my job will send me here again. I'll be at 40 Newberry untill like 4 if you are in the area, just stop in.
