The other thread about chrome rims made me remember I never posted about my chrome rims. I bought a set off eBay and they arrived pretty messed up. The pics don't do them justice, but they were really screwed up. The dealership took a look and said they were beyond repair. For $700 I got them fixed and chromed and that included shipping. I have some after pics also.

It showed them in perfect shape and the pictures all had tires with rims, but I got just rims. The description was: "These wheels are the original equipment on my brand new CTS V. They have less than 1000 miles on them and are in excellent condition. One wheel has a slight curb scratch."

They look nice. Where did you send get them to get chromed for $700.00 including shipping? I plan to send mine out this winter.

I just checked my PayPal to be 100% sure before people ask them about getting this done. It was $798 to be exact, my bad... They knew about the road rash before hand including pics so they might have tacked on for that because I seem to remember being quoted $700. Anyway I've been at work for 14 hours now the 4th day in a row so I'm losing it.

That is a great idea:worship:. My wheels are a little curb rashed thanks to the parking attendent is the city. I wanted to get them refinished but I dunno where to go.

There is a great place in Rialto California that will do them for $185.00 each. They need your wheels for about two weeks.

I paid $700 to my dealership to trade up from stock wheels to chromed stock wheels. I think I got a good deal :)
