I like the black, the burgandy isnt really the kids thing, we managed to get it down to those colours listed, plus gold, but thats undecided.

I will be having a decent entertainment system put in it too, and some bigger chromes.

For me, it really depends on what type of car I want it to be. I've got a daily driver, and also a classy weekend car, but now i want another to play with -- big rims, candy paint, etc., so if the Eldo was going to be the play car, it would be yellow with some 20" flats.

Its for my son, he will be getting a Vauxhall Corsa as a first car, and then he will become a named driver on the Eldo insurance, but i will also use it from time to time until he can drive, i dont want anything to be done to the engine, so it would all be body and interior, i dont mind spending alot of money, because he will be keeping the car for the duration.

So you are going to repaint this '93..... Mine is a light pink in a certain light, and I've always liked this colour. Anything lighter like White Diamond I like also. Never black, it just shows too much dust and dried up rain droplets, etc. for my tastes.

Light pink pearl with a white interior looks nice....

Most of my cars are black, my dad once gave me a tip: Whatever you drive, if its black, you look like youre prosperous.

I really dont like the green that this 93 is in, its boring. _6 likes the pink though, but i think it would be a new white interior whatever colourwe choose

I like the colour of your car ralph, it looks mocha, then pink, like thse awful tee shirts you could get in the early 90s, bu with oodlesof style

You should paint it pink, actually taupe metallic paint code 63/WA9811 or like a pinkish wine color. With white interior w/ pink inserts and pink tinted windows yeah yeah do it do it.!! Ok just kidding about the inserts and windows. You could also accent it by adding gold package. Real nice attention grabber. Or mix Red Pearl Tricoat 84/WA9976 with White Diamond Pearl Tri-coat 93/WA8933 to make a Pink Diamond Pearl Tricoat.

Haha yeah i agree there, although you must remember, a Cadillac in the UK is considered exotic....especially since its left hand drive, it draws attention to you.

I was once driving my wifes car and i got some guy next to me at the lights saying "hey i thought there was nobody driving this car when i was behind you back there, then i realised"

They had two cylinder, two stroke engines. I don't recall the size, they were too small to be measured in liters, they had to use cc's! LOL!

I saw my short life pass before my eyes many times in those tin cans! And talk about embarrassment! We'd pull up someplace and people would expect 12 clowns to get out! :ill:

Oh, by the way, these are Subaru 360's (I think 360 cc was the engine size)

What the hell are they! The look....ummm.....stylish, i managed to get my Dads wifes Corsa up to 45mph. I think it was broken

He'd wind them out in each gear trying to get up to speed on the freeways. They sounded like angry leaf blowers! :histeric:

I just loved those cars! :thepan:

But that was the 1960s :bigroll: In the 70s we had a Rover P6, a Volvo P1800 and a Ford Cortina.

MOst never Started on cold days, but they were great.

Oh yeah Briggs and Straton powered vehicles, I can see it now. a 250cc engine supercharged putting out 85hp in a 1 door Corsa on the Mackinaw Bridge struggling to make it to the other side against a wind gust.:histeric:

MOst never Started on cold days, but they were great.Pop got wise and sold those aluminum foil mobile coffins and bought a Mazda RX2 4 door sedan. Lousy gas mileage but it scooted pretty good. One bad thing about them beside their tendency to blow engine seals was the exhaust. The exhaust manifold was called a 'thermal reactor'. It was designed to heat up and burn any unburned fuel and if you loaded the engine and then backed off suddenly you would get a backfire that was louder than a 30.06!

One day we were driving up a pass, got to the peak and Dad let off the gas. Just at the top was a CHP officer giving someone a ticket. The RX2 belched fire out the back and that officer must have jumped 3 feet in the air! He probably lost 5 years off his life that day!

I want a car that scares the cops!! :cop: :histeric: Those Mazdas were well styled little cars, they remind me of my mothers FIAT 125 Speacial from 1970! They also had a 1976 Saab 99 For a few years, i THINK that had the two stroke engine, either way it used to make a putput noise when it ran

The Jaguar Mark X was beautiful, he looked like a mobster!
Today he drives a 99 1.8 Vectra and his wife has my old Izusu Trooper 3.1, not much of a mobster element there then
