What is the light in the front and just inside the low beam xenon, their are two located on the outside of the car in between the low beams and the grill on the car? Not the fog lights down below, not the high beams above, but inbetween the low beams and the grill. They are not bright, not xenon. It is a little larger than the diameter of a quarter and not very bright. Looked in the manual but did not find. It turns on along with the the low beams.
It's confusing for CTS owners, too:

The technical name for them is "City Lights", they are very common in europe, if not required by law over there. What exactly they do Im not sure, but my BMWs have them too.
The salesman just said they are European driving lights and they come on at the first click of the swich. And I think he was right.
I would call them parking lights rather than driving lights.
