People on this forum have had some questions about this. Do a search under "Service Stabilty System" and you will find some help.

You will not notice the difference under normal driving conditions if it isn't working. When working correctly it stops you from spinning your tires and helps to go around turns.


If you put larger rims on or put 3/4 drop on, It may not be able to read the sensor. Did you do anything to the truck recently.

Not this again? Turn the truck off and then restart it. If the message persists then you may want to have it looked at. If it doesn't come back don't worry. They pre-program that message to go off at irregular intervals so you'll bring it in and they can make a few bucks off of you. :histeric: ;)

If your truck is still under warranty get it checked out and be persistant about it. I brought mine in for the same reason before the warranty ran out, the dealer said there was nothing wrong and reset the computer. Well I brought it back in since it was persistent and to no surprise I was over my warranty by 2K miles. That time they said I needed 3 new sensors for the stability system and they cost $400 a peice! I was ****** pissed. They said even though I brought it in before hand for the same reason there was nothing they could do for me. I filed a complaint with the BBB and got no where and gave up. ANYWAY, like stated above, my truck runs great I just don't have the added "safety" of the stability system. I refuse to get it fixed at the only dealer in town. I am waiting until I move....sorry for rambling on.
