hey everybody. i'm new to the scene. just got my 93 fleetwood in april. it's my dream car, minus the lt1. i'm trying to customize it, but i'm having trouble finding a nice grill for it. i don't want the traditional vertical grill everyone wants. i like the the horizontal billet look. can anyone help me out? thanx guys.
Great! Welcome!!! Hopefully you will find lots of help and support here.
There is some grill companies that support the list, but I have never seem one on the 93-96 FWB's.
Is yours a Fleetwood or Fleetwood Brougham? In 1993, how did Cadillac differentiate the RWD Fleewood and the FWD Fleetwood? (Sandy?? Ideas?) Bet that drove dealers nutty.
I have a 94, and love it. One of the best cars I have ever owned. Take a look down the option list, see what RPO (Regular Production Options) it has. It is always interesting. You can find a good list here: http://myweb.accessus.net/~090/cfb.html Look for option V4P, that is a pretty rare one on most FW's. And on yours, will be 3.73's.

There was no front wheel drive Fleetwood in 1993.
Do a search for the grille here. I think there was a post before about the same thing so you might be able to find the answer somewhere.
There was a 1993 Fleetwood. The also was a 1993 Fleetwood Brougham.
The FWD Fleetwood was a C body, based on the Deville powered by a 200 HP 4.9L V8.
The Fleetwood Brougham was a V8 RWD car, redesigned and virtually identical to the 1994 Fleetwood/Fleetwood Brougham. Then in 1995 and 1996 they moved the mirrors to the doors and other minor changes.

Yeah there was a 1993 Fleetwood and a 1993 Fleetwood Brougham. But they're both the same car. Like I said there was no front wheel drive Fleetwood in 1993. Instead they had a Sixty Special like what Sandy has. It looks the same as the 1992 Fleetwood on the outside but it has different seats.

The 93 is a nice car to have. If you're planning on doing serious customizing, you'll be more than happy with the TPI-350. The LT1 is a more powerful engine but doen't look nearly as nice as the TPI once you start adding some chrome.
For the past 2 years my engine has been pulling 3-pumps, 8 batteries and a fifth wheel. Even with all that it was still a powerful engine.
I would bet if you were adventurous, you can get a TPI 305/350 intake and then get a set of Vortec heads and you should be very close in power to the LT1. And all by never removing your block from the car.
The 96-99 Vortec 350 heads are around $485 new at any dealer. Fully assembled ready to bolt on. Worth 30-35 hp out of the box compared to the stock L05 heads.
