I am looking at purchasing an '04 Out of The Blue Color EXT. It has about 22k miles and is Cadillac Certified to 100k miles or 9/09. It's got the moonroof and the chrome wheels for options. It's in near perfect condition exterior/interior. All of the sites give me a value in the 40's it seems, but it seems crazy when I could pick up an '05 right now for just a bit more. Any thoughts?

Yes that price is correct on the 04. (low $40,000)

The 05's are price real low right now which is crazy because there not much more money. (high $40,000) I'd rather spend the few thousand more and get the new one, but that out of the blue color is awesome and is not availible in 05. It is a hard choice. Just be happy you didn't buy a 03 a few years ago for $60,000.:banghead:

I would agree with Boombotz.
The 04 is a great deal with the Certification but unless you have a strong preferrence for the color....I'd also go with the new 05 for the extra money.
With the new vehicle prices being so low it only lowers the prices of used vehicles that much more.
Nice if you buy a used one for short money and plan to keep it but a little further in time and they are worth even less real fast.

I bought an out of the blue 04 ext with 23k and all the options including navi for 39k out the door. It is also certified untill 2009/100k. The interior was perfect and the outside was pretty clean with a few minor imperfections like a couple little scrapes/scratches. You should be able to get it for high 30's especially now, cause when I bought it they didn't have that employee pricing going on.
