Don't know if i'm missing anything or not, i don't have the owners manual yet from the previous owner; but i can't seem to get the rear seat heat to work. It has the hi and low button, i think the words hi and low should light up when selected, but they down', nothing is getting warm either, either side. Front seats work fine. I'm just trying to see if there are any bugs i need to work out. It's on a 2000 Lade. Just got the thing, so not sure what's up yet. thanks

sounds like something is wrong with is, maybe a fuse or a short somewhere, I will go check mine and see I have a 2000 also.

Firecat,

On the rear seats and I think the passenger front seat, the seat belts have to be connected before the seats will heat up. This keeps from having them heat up when nobody is in the seat. Otherwise I'm sure there is a fuse. You may want to make sure that the wire connections are tight.

Firecat, glad everything was OK. There a a lot of things on the Lade that you almost have to read the owners manual from front to back. It is a wonderful vehicle, even if it now costs $50 to $70 to fill up.

:yup: This is just a perfect example of the type of information that I appreciate receiving from this forum.

I just thought mine didnt work, but since I dont sit back there its not necessary, and if I were to venture back and roll around on my detroit cowhide I wouldnt need it any way.
