Hello,

I have a 96 STS with the Z-rated option. When I engage the traction control "OFF" button in the glove compartment the car seems to have 1/2 the power. Is this normal?

I am also looking for someone to modify my OBDII to maximize on power but that should probably be another post :) :cool:

Please check out my other post on a RWD conversion as I am hoping someone can help me out. :banghead:

Not Exactly......With the traction control ON it will take off in second gear.

My '98 Seville operates as Sandman describes.

it starts in 1st with the TC on, 2nd with the tc off

to bad you can't make it start in 2nd with tc on, incase your in super icy conditions
