does the dash for an 05 fit the 02? i want the double din space....

Technically, it'll "fit" in your '02, with the exception of maybe where it meets the center console, and, of course, the completely different electronics that would not work with your older and different truck.

It would fit yet the wires are completely different so it would not work at the end.

actually, im talking about just the dash cover. i shouldve been more specific. i just want to replace the dash cover with the 05 so i would have the double din space i belive that it has. basically, i dont want to have to cut/modify the dash cover i have now (which has a 1.5 din space). anybody tried this? or can someone post a pic of their 05 dash?

I think its bigger overall than the '02. But if it does work, let me know, I have an '02 and would love to put the double din aftermarket in instead of a single din.
