I have a 2000 Seville STS and it wont start. I checked it for codes and it came up with VTD B3055 as a current code. What does VTD mean. :confused:

Thanks maydog. That makes sence. I know that the B3055 means key not present.

In my case about two months ago I car also would not start.

It turned about to be my ingition tumbler. I had to get that replaced and get a new key cut from the dealer because of the chip. it cost me $200 for the repair plus $40 for a new key.

Thats what it turned out to be. Its not going to cost me nothing to fix it because I've only had the car for a couple months and the dealer said they would cover it. :D
