Alright folks, I've kept the whole project in the dark, but the time has come to unveil it. It's come a long way and is ready to hit the road (still needs exhaust). Please feel free to ask any questions about the swap! I tried to put as much as I could remember in the "Facts" section(s). Anyway, enjoy!

A ton more pictures and info about the whole car and more on the engine: 472 DeVille (http://web.pdx.edu/%7Ebtc/83/)

472,

Good Job on the 472 swap. Clean looking ride that ought to catch some unsuspecting sucker offguard at a stop light. Wish you had some pic's of the Caddy with the tires smokin, but you can add those later. Looks like the only major things to do are the rear fender extensions and tidy up the wires under the dash. Any engine mods other than the carb and intake? Just saw today that Potter has a smokin deal on 472 KB pistons. That and some forged rods and shaft roller rockers and you got yourself 6000 rpm screamer that ought to run mid 13's in the 1/4 mile. :yup:

Very nice work and pix. The grille looks like a 1981.

Nice car. Very unsuspecting setup. I feel a few kill stories coming up soon. You've done alot of work and it all looks good.

I must agree. The whole setup looks really nice. Job well done! I am also curious as to what all you did internally. It sure will be fun to smoke some ricers with that beauty!
