Water pump. Oil pump gears. Timing chain. Stroke is the same but crank counterweights are larger. Distributor drops in but engine controls are different. Camshaft fits but was changed after 1980 368 carb. Are you sure you have an '82 368? They were only in limos.

Could be a 368 in there. Does it have 4 electrical connectors right on top of the valve covers (2each)?
