:rant2: :annoyed: :want: :banghead:

Ok, something happened tonight, and I'm looking into where can I get a door for my 2003 EXT?

I'm in need of...
- Passenger-side mirror (black preferably)
- Passenger-side front door (black preferably)

How much do you think a junkyard would charge for the above parts?

How much do you think Cadillac would charge for the above parts?

Anywhere else I can look? I'm on google looking at miami-area junkyards, ebay-motors, and trying to find some places that make OEM parts but with out the high-priced dealer/company costs :rolleyes2

Ok, im gonna go find a black marker, cover up the scratch, and get my dremel ready so I can roll up my window for the night. Then I need to figure a way to fix the rest. :(

I only have one question for God, why can I never have 1 nice car. Everything I've ever owned, something just has to happen. Especially when I have $118 to last me until the 15th. F***!!!:rant2:

not much to it.

came to drop my gf at her apartment, gate was closed. went to go unlock her brothers bike and ride it on top of the exit gates magnet thing that will open the gate thinking there is a car waiting to leave.

well on my way to the bike, there was a car leaving. so they opened the gate, gf drove in. she was dumb and was paying attention to me instead of the closing gate. and even with the window down, didnt hear me yell STOP!!! and all i heard was crunch noise and i walked away pissed.

the damage was a broken mirror which had been pushed back and blocked off my window from rolling up. a dent in the metal just below the mirror but didnt take any paint off. then below the Escalade EXT badges, theres a 8-inch long deep scratch. then below that, there are some white marks that come off when you lick your finger and rub them. at least last night i was able to fix it enough to roll my window up all the way. now today im gonna finish what i can on the dent with a rubber mallet.

i have basically no money for a couple weeks, was gonna enter my truck in a show and put the 24s on just for that day, but now all my plans are ruined as i have a dent in my door, scratched paint below the Escalade EXT badging, and a ****ed mirror.

Ouch, but as always cars can be fixed. Be happy that no one got hurt.
