OK here is another one.I have a number of dipsticks and tubes that are kicking around here and do not know which goes with each other.I have the pan off right now and need to know what the level of the fluid should be in the pan so that I can match the dipstick up with the proper tube.I know there are different lengths with these trans because they are all out of th 350`s.

Sitting here the last while I continued to google around and stumbled on some racing site where it was said that the fluid level should be at least pan height to 1/2 inch above.That will at least give us a reference point to argue from.:)
