View Full Version : 88 Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance

Just purchased an '88 RWD Fleetwood and I'm happy to say it's just like the one my father had when I was a kid. I've been a lifelong fan of these icons of the American auto industry and I'm happy to say I finally own one. It's got some issues so I'm hoping you guys can help me out, starting with a flakey motor. My first post will be in the technical section.

Looking forward to getting your feedback.

:welcome: to Cadillac Forums. Sorry to hear you got problems with Caddy. From what I've heard you don't want to anything major to the 307. If the guys here can't help you to get it back to tip-top shape you might want to just swap it out for a 350.

Looks like some of the guys have already given some great advice over in the technical area. Good luck. Thanks for joining the forum.

Welcome! The 307 in my '82 Park Avenue has given me no problems in all my years of ownership.. but it only has 78K on it. I also have a 1991 Fleetwood Brougham with the 305. Great cars
