Just like the rest of the internet..... :D 2dfx 11-18-03, 08:19 PM WTF!!! We went from vBulletin 4 Beta 3 to vBulletin 3 Beta 7??? You tell me how that works? the Sandman 11-18-03, 08:45 PM WTF!!! We went from vBulletin 4 Beta 3 to vBulletin 3 Beta 7??? You tell me how that works?I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but I'll try to answer anyway. We went from vBulletin 3 Beta 4 to vBulletin 3 Beta 7 during the upgrade to the dedicated server. There is no such thing as vBulletin 4, at least not now. vB3 Beta 4 was the first public Beta. Sal didn't hit all of the Betas as they came out because there were known bugs in them and it wasn't worth the time and effort of doing the upgrades until Beta 7. The next release is due out by the end of this month (which means within the next 2 weeks) and will be called vBulletin 3 Gamma 1. This will have the brand new style completely implemented and should be a real treat. The Release Candidate RC1 will be released shortly after the Gamma. The RC is considered stable although there might be RC2, RC3, etc. before the "gold" version vBulletin 3.0. elwesso 11-18-03, 09:34 PM Does Sal have to pay for all these upgrades??? the Sandman 11-18-03, 09:47 PM There's a yearly fee to retain access to the member's download area. elwesso 11-18-03, 09:50 PM Wow..... Godspeed to him!!! He has to maintain a really expensive website, a cadillac, and (im speculating) girfriend!! How does he have any money for anything??? I hardly have enough money to keep my car going how I want it to!! However, my standards are very high!!! BeelzeBob 11-19-03, 09:07 AM Thanks. :) Yes, I have a high-maintenance life, don't I? There's also a yearly fee to maintain updates for the Photo section. :( Oh, and my girlfriend wants an engagement ring that she saw at Tiffany's.. heh.. That's going to be a rough one to work around.. | |
