" You can learn more about a person in an hour of play,
than in a year of conversation."

True, while playing you tend not to focus on life's anxieties. Letting your inner child come out, you thereby allow more of yourself to be seen. Nothing matters during play, not appearances, amount of money or anything.During conversation we tend to withhold things sometimes. We always think about what we should say or how we should say it. During play time or a time of enjoyment we tend to have a more natural flow and relaxed atmosphere. Conversations are more guarded , play is pure unguarded enjoyment.I think as adults ( with adult problems) we forget that as kids we always felt better after we had play time. While it won't solve problems it will clear your head and we'd be surprised at how easily problems are solved with a clear mind. But enough of my rambling.

A wise man once said : Don't piss against the wind. Don't piss on electric fences.
and also maybe more appropriate now: Don't sell your car for gas money.

"The feelings which play produces
in the mind are feelings of relief from
an exertion; and the pleasure it gives
provides relaxation."

This statement is as accurate,
wise and realistic as one can get.
I have always purported this exact
contention; but, no one knew what
I was blabbing on about. I thank you
kindly Kev; I guess I'm not that crazy
or messed up after all.
