I got my block back from the shop last week...now I want to take care of the timeserts as I'm ordering new bearings and seals and such to do the bottom end. So does anyone have a timesert kit that they would rent or sell me outright at a reasonable (I'm thinking under $120 to buy, haggle on the rental) price?

If so please email me. botboy60 (at) hotmail.com

You might as well buy the kit here at, http://www.timesert.com/misc.html
If you cant find a shop in your area to repair stripped threads in northstar block.

Just find it below i think it is $295.00 USD. I had a local shop fix my northstar head bolt problem and now my car is running fine, thank god! :bouncy:

I have one that will be going on ebay after christmas probably. (will be using it this weekend)
If youre still interested by then, we might be able to work out a direct sale.
you will still need to buy all of the thread inserst which are about $1 - $2 I think. (dont remember exactly)
The insert kit does not come with the bolts, you use the stock bolts that come with the new gaskets.
