Just got my new V and wanted to install a CAI as my first mod. Seems like I see a lot of people using the More Performance Inc unit. I also like the StealthV unit but More Performance claims double the HP gain as StealthV. I would appreciate any input or experiences.

The best route is the Stealth V and the Lingenfelter. They work together.

BTW, I've seen posts where guys have gotten rid of the More in favor of the Lingenfelter.

I would also say that the "Best" set-up out there would be the Stealth V and the Lingenfelter combined to make one great CAI kit. I have the Lingenfelter now and the next step is the factory bottle neck intake tube to be replaced in favor of the Stealth V one.

I had mine programed OUT with the Diablo Preditor. I'm sure that Stealth V can program it out for you as well. (www.stealthv.com)

I have the MorePerformance set up and like it a lot. No whistles or noises but I did throw a couple of lean codes that the dealer said was most likely due to the intake. Anyone else had that problem?

Moore CAI pipes tend to get "cut" by the the fender and motor vibrations...
go with the Lingenfelter... or buy Stealth's pipe and your own large K&N filter...
Lingenfelter is just that... a K&N filter on stock pipe =\

I second the nomination - Ling' and StealthV TB2MAF pipe.

I have the MORE PERFORMANCE CAI and it has been great!!! No whistles, etc. MORE has a NEW CAI, which looks more like the LPE design. The pass through in the airbox now has a insert that protects the airfilter neck.

I have had More do all my work. I did opt for Lingenfelter CAI which MP installed. They showed me theirs which I must say looked like it sealed the air filter area better. No complaints on my LPE air filter though.

More Performance redisigned their CAI. I don't think old threads on their kit apply on this forum. You may want to see if anyone has purchased their most recent kit (larger filter)
